But I realized something important: the best way to truly learn is to build. So I have taken on a personal challenge. 15 days, 15 projects, one every single day. A Small Step Forward for Growth on My Leadership Journey 💪 A few weeks ago, I decided to do something for myself for the sake of growth without grades or challenges, other than being curious. I signed up for an online course (there is nothing techy about this), "Leadership Fundamentals." To my surprise, at first I thought of leadership as solely guiding others; and then I learned that the first step of leadership is to lead yourself, lead oneself by being consistent, emotional, and empathetic in your conversations. 💬 The most memorable sticking point of the course was the statement: "Leadership isn't about power, it is about influence and purpose." What I find extremely effective and enlightening, was to understand how much emotional intelligence, working with other people, and decision making ability play a huge role for leaders to first, have their impact on human beings. 🌟 Overall, I learned that growth happens in tension, uncomfortable tension, but curiosity followed by a consistent practice is where positive growth begins; it feels great to be inspired to learn and grow every single day! 💪 #Leadership #PersonalDevelopment #SkillDevelopment #GrowthMindset #SelfDevelopment #LearningJourney
